Graphics-wise they're about the same, but I think the ColecoVision's sound system is really annoying. REALLY annoying. like someone here ZING. They both went out around the great video game crash of 1983/4/5, and were never really competitive with the VCS because of its strong hold on the market. And with its additional flux capcitor synregy modulator, the Inellivision has about 2 more jiggawatts of power than the ColecoVision. if you believe the last sentence you are a moron or have poor judgement ZING AGAIN

They are simply two consoles from the same time period, and they both sucked.

The different between the two is that Coleco stands for Connecticut Leather Company, while Intelli...doesnt.

they did have similar joysticks, though...

like the atari 5200's...but WORSE... (that was a dark period in video gaming)
I still don't own a colecovision. I do have a Coleco Adam, though--which would be superior if the tape drives still worked...
