What can you fit in a NES controller? I've been looking into putting my MP3 player into one, what have you see built in a NES controller?

I wish I had a nes controler to make some random thing.
First time ever playing a actual NES (not some crappy emu or remake) was at my friends house a few days ago, his sister works at a used game store (has systems I deidn't even know exist. Anyways, I put in Duck Hunt and pluged in the light gun. First time ever useing either and I got to round 11 and made 100700 points. My finders felt like jelly... and after this my friend (who hunts and owns some rifles) told me I was sighting the gun wrong

That would be cool. You could do it shuffle style and have the dpad control the player. The unit would have to be made vertical, and the A and B buttons could be volume up and down.
