ive just got my snes back from my brother, but i dont have a power lead.
on the bottom is says it 9v 1.3a, but i dont have any other adapters in my house i can use, apart from one thats 10v 1.2a which is the closest ive got to it.
what do you recommend i do? can i buy power adapters from soemwhere, or will i have to make my own power supply?

the 10v 1.2a adapter will work. now all you have to do is find a way to connect it to the snes

remember though, the snes is kinda odd and uses the reverse polarity of most wall warts (center pin -)

the 10v 1.2 wont burn it out? i wouldnt have thought pushing another volt through the snes would be good for it.

the snes has a 7805 in it so it can take 7.2- 34 volts as long as you dont remove it
but remember wat gannon said
when life gives you lemons make flux

The pin on top is + and the pin on the bottom is - (can someone check that for me before he goes and fries his SNES and blames me). I don't know about the red thing. The gooey thing is proabably burnt flux or something.

The red thing looks like a trimpot (variable resistor)
