Original analog stick to GC stick

Does anyone know the pinouts of the wires for the original N64 analog stick, so I can replace it with a stick from a GC? I think it would make it so much better and more comfortable.

I can't, because the N64's is just a stick, which move these pieces of plastic around, which triggers the pots, leading to a reaction in the game.

are you talking about the original N64 controllers? they use photodiode thingies, not pots

just two pots...

to be able to use the GC stick, you'd have to get an N64 controller that uses pots for the joystick...I think the "boomerang" one uses them....
