iPod Linux Help

I am trying to get ipod linux going on my ipod and whenever I try and start it the penguin comes up but it freezes. I saw a similar problem on the ipod linux forums but i really didnt understand the soultion. So does any one have any instructions or way to fix this. Oh and i have a 3rd gen ipod.

did you use freddiemercurys guide?if not then try it with that

yea i went through that installation too and my ipod still freezes on the penguin when i boot up. I am really confused i followed all the directions but it doesnt seem to work. PLEASE HELP ME
