What are you talking about? Trailers are great! By watching them it can sometimes save you money. Here's how: If they show some super amazing scenes that are actually pretty bleh, then the movie will most likely tank. If it has some of the best stuff you have ever seen in your life, then it might not tank. This usually works since they always put the absolute best footage from the movie into the trailers. It's like watching all the good parts of a movie

i know its what the call animation... BUT all there ANIMATION looks the exact same. with litte varyation on theame and most if not all of the anime these days being us bought and produced vary little of it is japanise and bearable. its like seeing the same ring clone over and over again then telling me that one was better than the other.. no its not.
Your not looking in the right places. Yes some anime looks very standard. If you want to see something different from the new stuff go and look at the stuff from the 80s or 70s. Also the problem with anime is that the people that put it on tv to show the masses pick the best ways to ruin it.cennar wrote:i know its what the call animation... To set the record, I already know about all the movies before they happen. I literally knew about the Charlie and the Chocolate Factory movie a year before it came out, and I saw the trailer last November. And not all the movie previews bug me. For example, The Brothers Grimm (as bad and plotless as it was) had a decent trailor. But movies like Valient, Chicken Little, and that one about the forest animals attacking back, especially like when they said in the trailor "people have ruled the forests since the beginning of time (which is utter BS, I mean for one, that's wrong, and besides, whose side are these movie makers on? Buncha hippies.)", all that garbage just drives me into a Hulk-style frenzy. I hate previews so much, I wish they would die.

It's not the trailers that bug me, in fact they're the best time to get settled before you watch the movie. (get a drink of water, use the restroom, steal popcorn from the empty concession stand...)
What bugs me is all the remakes. Why can't those people in Hollywood come up with anything new? Concider this: The Dukes of Hazzard was a corny TV show from the seventies. They turn around, cast actors who bear NO reseblance to Tom Wopat or John Schnider, and make it a sleazy southern redneck festival. And WHY did they bother to make a new Herbie the Love Bug movie? The originals were excrement to begin with, in my opinion. So why spend millions of dollars making a new one? And Charlie and the Chocolate Factory? WTF is up with that movie?! Johnny Depp looks like some deranged Michael-Jackson-from-hell thing, and the entire movie seems surreal. The original movie wasn't anything like that!
*ahem* Well that's just my $.02

To set one thing first. Charlie and the Chocolate Factory is a new take on the book not a redue of the original movie which was titled Willie Wonka and the Chocolate Factory.
Now to be fair you cant expect much from the people in hollywood. They make atleast one good movie and they think they know the public's interent. Personally I think they should rotat these fools out every few years to have freash blood in. But thats a new and radical idea, they'd never let people in that have come from the streets do anything with "art".

There was a really funny guy on comedy central, who could do a perfect impersonation of movie trailer narrators. It was so funny. Theres a clip of it on the internet somewhere that I saw a few days ago. Ill get a link in a few minutes.
