I put a red, blinking light on my NES controller showed in this picture

but it is realy bright and it shines in my eye, showed in this pic

It realy is anoing, can anyone tell me sugestions about what I can do with it BESIDES remove it :wink:

Make a C button that makes it go on when pressed., and use it to display morse code?

it led blinks you say? If it ever stops working make sure you don't try to blow into your controller.

Try putting something over it like a peice of tape. Diffuse the light.

put an infrared transmitter into it and make your own cart with the programming for your tv remote

That could work, except the blinking rate is not controlled by the NES.

Where did you connect the + and - leads from the led to the nes board.

i wrote that! Anyway, mabye you have purchased a flashing LED. I have heard of some that have a flasher circuit inside of them.
