Ok, the headphone jack must be hooked up to the screen, that way you can regulate the volume. You might blow your ears if you connect it directly to the SNES. Just use my idea, but make sure you connect the HP_S spot to both the L and R switch spots, it turns out I had missed the trace connecting them.

Code: Select all

(bottom of jack)

Code:
_________
1
  2   3
4
•     •
____5____
___

1. Headphone Left
2. Headphone Right
3. Headphone Switch (or leave unconnected, if so, make sure to connect 4)
4. Headphone Switch (or leave unconnected, if so, make sure to connect 3)
5. Ground
Just use my idea, but make sure you connect the HP_S spot to both the L and R switch spots, it turns out I had missed the trace connecting them.
Do you mean on slot 2? the back of the screen board? or from slot 2 to the jack?

Yeh, slot 2. Or the connections on the back of the screen board, there are ones labeled HP_S, HP_L and HP_R that will work. The ground can be found in many places.

Everything is connected to the back of the lcd board.

Thanks usb...

Lemonjuice, i keep asking because i already spent TOO much money on this and i'm trying to keep costs down by asking questions. Building is the fun part yes, but its not fun if you don't know what to do.

EDIT:::

Once its fully complete, I'll post everything I did (giving proper credit to all that helped of course).
