I may be a nintendo fanboy, but that screen is WONDERFUL. I *will* switch over, but I'm waiting for piracy options and more good games to come out. Metal gear and maybe wipout (I haven't tried this wipout yet) are all I currently want to play on it, versus a couple dozen RPGs (and a good hundred other games) on GBA.G-force wrote:Now you have to change you sig *o*... Mind telling what is so fun about it? Games really good? I'm interested because I have yet to hear an honest review of the system. Everyone is a nintendo fanboy...
the only reason I wouldn't switch over is if a system that met my requirements was released soon (similar screen and power, but more gaming possibilities). I also don't like the idea of discs on a portable...
I have played the ds and PSP and own a PSP myself. Its an amazing system with such great potential. Espcially considering it can run windows 95 or Linux on it. Some guy used an x86 emulator to do this for those of you that havent heard it. The games are a bit wanting though. Nintendo did shovelware half of their games but dman those are soem really good games they shoveled. Thts not to say PSP doesnt have some great games but I think Sony needs to learn how to shove like Nintendo does so we can play all the final fantasy for the ps1 games and resident evils.
It does have a few good games though. THUG2 is amazing, Twisted Metal was pretty good but could have been better, Coded arms was better then I expected considering its a new series. I am gonna get soem more soon So i will let you know but.....
PSP ROCKS MY SOCKS OFF

how is the PSP fun? one word: EMULATION.....
SNES, NES, Genesis, GB.....enough to last me for at least a few years, probably way more, of gaming
oh yeah, and it can play movies and it's own games and stuff
...(when I say movies, I mean on the memory stick...those UMD movies are just too darn expensive and pointless!!!)

Without games my life would have no meaning.
Well, I guess it would, but it would be a lot less fun!!!!!!!

read about it (the now newly named Gp2x) on gp32x.com it has more buttons, and i think 64 mb of ram, faster priocessor and slightly larger screeen that the gp32, its made by gamepark holdings, not to be confused by gamepark, who left GPH (makers of the original gp32) more can be read on gp32x and other sites
