Turns out Best Buy has STOPPED selling Hip Screens. I asked the amanager why, and he gave me the reason. "It is a stupid product that nobody will appreciate."

So you guys will have to wait to get them (the one person who already paid will have to wait.

And G-Force, guess what I got in the mail today?

I haven't seen screenpad controllers in the stores in months.

That's why I'm trying to make a modular handheld system.

What really sucks is that I was depending on Jeff to supply screens for my N64P's

Now I will have to deal with the evil ebay pirates.

hey jeff , those links i posted for all those Hip Gear's on ebay .. they all came from Payless-Electronics in canada.

here is a link , just scroll down until you find the number. i might be calling them in about 30 mins but they might be closed.

if you call them and get an answer if they are selling them or not, let me know..

ahh creepy best buy, I remeber when they first opened the store near me. My dad, brother and me all went to check it out. We go in BAM greeted by 3 people at the door, and were bugged by another 5-6 in the store. I sware they had their entire staff there.

Best Buy is like "Night of the Living Dead" and Circuit City rolled into one.

It's still not as creepy as the greeters at Wal-Mart...

Side note: The people in RipoffShack sort of fear me now, because I know more about electronics than they do. (well a rock knows more, but who's counting? They know it now.)

i saw some at frys electronics when i was up in portland but i think the price on them was about $50

Oh, I forgot to mention, even thought I'm a 13 year old kid in a store alone with no parents around, they kept me in the place for 15 minutes trying to make me put down $500 to preorder the xbox 360.

"What makes you think I want a Glorified Media Centre?"
"Well, you have PS2, Xbox, and Gamecube don't you? And you are the wiz kid always putting us to shame..."

"We're bringing you to shame, you probably didn't even know abou the 360 did you kid?"

"So you don't want to preorder your new Xbox 360"
"Are you going to tell me if you have the Screens or not?"
"Sorry we have cancelled them."
"Why?"
"Its a toy 6 year olds and nerds might like, so nobody can appreciate it."
"You know what, you guys are idiots. I put down my money on an MP3 player you wouldn't replace because it was 2 days after warentee when it broke, your guys don't know anything about whats out, and your removing decent products."

That's awful. They threw out Zydaco King when he went to get some merchandise he had hidden to buy later when the line wasn't so long. See, they act nice, but they can turn on you in a minute. Whats weird is they all seem to be the same! It's as if they have a book on how to act and they all follow it exactly.

If it's possible I just go to Wal-Mart to get what I need. Course they won't let me get paint or glue, so I usually end up making a second trip to Menards.

Anyways, enough store bashing for now, it needs to stop before we get to Radio Shack

Marketing Geniuses?

No what really fries me about big stories its that they dont cater to out kind of people (yeah nerdy) and yet Best Buy has people parading around as though they were "geeks". I need to just what into Best Buy or simalar store just to flaunt my knowlege of computers over their staff, just to spite them as the store hire on work history more then current knowlege.

Anyone what to join in a plan to burn down several stores.... or is that too extreme?

I think we should all go into my best buy, ask for their "Best Employee" when it comes to this, who's proly 35, and have the knowledge kicked out of him by the younger ones of this forum like me.

Soon, The will have a sign on their walls "BENHECK.COM MEMBERS WITH 250 OR MORE POSTS AUTO-HIRED"

Or is THAT too far?
