wow i just went to Salvation army, thats right i went to a thrift store, and i found this Sega Genesis with 4 games, 2 controllers, and 1 adaptor for $3. only $3!!!, the only thing its missing is the AV Out Cord, is there any thing i can mod, that will subsitute that?

Like i have a N64 av Out Cord, can i mod that so it works into Genesis? Like strip the cord, and put each wire in the Genesis AV OUT Slot?

this is what my Sega Looks like, is that the Sega Genesis Ver. 2?

i think $3 for that is a good, deal, cept its Missing the AV OUT Cord, can i buy those AV Out Cords somewhere? or is there anyway i can Mod a N64 AV OUT Cord so it works in the Sega? (the Sega AV out Cord has a Weird Slot it looks liek the Plug-in a Mouse for Computer has, only it has more holes)
and the Sega is Mint Condition, looks brand new..

uhh i need help, i havnt stripped the wires yet but theres a lil part on my n64 AV OUT CORD that shows what a lil part of the wires that are in the cord, and theres only 4

why would there be more than four? audio L, audio R, composite video, Ground. and yes, your cord is shaped like the one on the right in the link I posted.

I thought about building one for a while--it's hard to find a genesis cable with stereo sound. But then one day I did find one...

well the Sega AV Out Slot has 9 Holes, so shouldnt there be 9 Cords??? or can i just take those 4 and Shove them in the Correct Holes and it will work?

No, the pins are all used for different things. The cord you need would (as usual) have 3 cords: Red, White, and Yellow.

The other pins are for RGB and RF signals.
