I used a SMS emu and it worked pretty good. I think it was made by...ahem..."PISS". Really. It had a pic of an outline of a guy wizzing in the bottom left corner with "PISS" written on it. Anyways, it was slightly illegal since it had a TON of games already on the .iso So if this is crossing a legality line, go ahead and edit please.
BTW, a GREAT(!!!) alternative to a modchip is a PS-X-Change 2. It's just a CD and a plastic tab (to hold down the CD button), and it works great! I reccomend it to a modchip anyday. Esecially since I ordered a chip and wired it perfectly and it dodn't work at all.
Sorry, but no I can't. For multiple reasons. It's not allowed here (I'm not even sure this thread is okay), and I got it off Kazaa not a site. I did find, thanks to google, that it was made by "The PISS Team". Other than that, there is nothing I can find. Besides it was pretty crappy. No sound, and it was kinda slow on certain games.
To do that you will need to cut out a piece of thin plastic (Like from a pop bottle {pop=soda for you non-hicks}), and then you have to stick it inbetween the CD lid switch and the OPEN button to hold it down. There is a small slot if, I remember right, on the bottom right corner in the CD area that you can stick it in. Leave part of the plastic sticking out so you can remove it later (just tape the end down.). Course I never tried a GameShark CD, so it might not even work. I did try a Code Breaker, but it always had the CD spinning, so a switch was impossible.
Well the GameShark CD has a "start game without codes" feature, where you're allowed to open the CD tray and it starts the game after it's closed again... I'm gonna try that first.
EDIT: Nope. Blank screen. Maybe I didn't burn it right?
I have a swap disc called "Breaker Pro" and it works great on both PS1 and PS2. Just Google for "Breaker Pro" and you'll find a whole bunch of places that carry it.
So if this is crossing a legality line, go ahead and edit please.
