Screw the clock! Add an mp3 player!

Just kiddin...its very small and compact..how long is the battery life?

A long time. I left the NES running on alkalines that werent new for over 3 hours. When they were brand new I estimate about 5 hours. With the screen, Take some time off of that, so it lasts for a long time.

And power it off of a computer and it can run practically forever! (at least until the power goes out) And the same thing with the car adaptor.

u could add a mp3 player by using that usb wires hook one in

how does it feel with a cart in it, or do you just play the games that were on the superjoy? It seems it would a little off balance with a cartridge in there(what with NES cart being sooo big)

bolth ways are very comfortable. The cart is very tight and does not get in the way of my hands. Most of the games I use to test are on the super joy, so i use the internal ones rather than messing with carts. I play games like megaman, and its comfortable. And without the battery pack (using computer for power) Its Very light.

A backlight? there is one in there. Most of the pictures are taken with the unit off.

It's actually 2.25"...

Nice job man. You ought to think about filling the gaps with putty, and then painting it. Just for looks.
Something I was wondering, do you have any trouble with the backlight all a sudden dropping in brightness, and the screen gets really dark, after about an hour on rechargeable batterys? Or do you only use alkalines?

I use bolth. I should try it out. I have it running via the computers power, 5.0v, and it works, just a little dimmer.

Looks nice ,but it would've looke coller with the n64 cartridge ,except maybe if the screen didnt fit...cool NESp though!!!!Congrats
