So first, it needs a cool name. macgyverportables is a bit silly (unless you guys like it, then it could stay.). How about a new .tk name, like my old customconsoles name? Any cool ideas?
If I can get some people to help me, I would like to make pages for each portable that a member completes. There would be a list of names with each members portables listed underneath their name. Their name can only be there when they have a good portable to put up. This would be a great way to get all the portables and information up. See, this way it's not just the admins job to supply information, the sender can include it in his page.
If the member wishes to do so, he can even make a how-to.
Of course some people don't know HTML so their text for the page would have to be formatted and pics would have to be resized and renamed. That's where the help comes in
We could have a how-to on sending in the page, or we could just offer to put the pics and that's all.I know triton was wanting to do something like this a while ago, so maybe we could merge ideas.
What would you like to see in a new portables site? Ideas are completely welcome! I need input on this. If I get help it should be a really easy system to use. This would have to be a group project to succeed. I don't want to use the "I" letter anymore when reffering to the site, it should be "we".
Perhaps sam fisher could host it, I heard he had unlimited bandwidth. If we can get this going I will check on that.
