mAh Rating for Old PS2
I need to know about the old ps2's maximum mAh rating. This battery seems to be very cheaply priced and a good mAh rating. Plan on using a DC-DC converter to reduce it to 12V, and power the PSone screen off of SONY's camcorder battery, 7.2V @8000mAh. I can hopefully run the PS2 for about 2 hours, and the screen for about 8.5 hours.

Well, easiest way is to hook two portable DVD player batteries in series, they're usually around 6,000mAH and hooking 2 together (they're around 6v-9v) would give you over 12v. Or you could choose to get a PStwo for your project and live with 1 9v one. I believe the power consumption is better for them too…

Would 8AA NiMH batteries at 2300mAh a piece add up to be 18400mAh? Just wondering 'cause when you hook up batteries in series the voltage is added on as well. If so i think iI'll get these that come with a charger.
