what is this used for on the psp and what is the difference between them

at least take off your avitar when you ask stupid questions... well the fermware is all the soft ware the psp needs to do stuff. the updates means it will most likly stop the curent home brew. the same thing is hasppening on the DS. and has happend to the DC.

ok differences are 1.0 and 1.50 cn run homebrew but 1.51 1.52 and 2.0 cant although 2.0 has an internet browser

give it a few weeks and they will have it cracked. Theres always a loophole. It just takes a little time to figure out.

the reason the american 2.0 took soooooo long is that they were patching it up

Nintendo is not changing the firmware on the DS, they are changing the hardware, besides if Nintendo was to reflash all DS's, it would take way too long!

fudge what do i do i've got a 1.51 psp but i want emus
where can i find this downgrader (i know its not done) but what web site is it suppose to be on
should i stick with that or get 2.0

no the freaking new colored ones have the crap ass new non pass me stuff on it and yeah pritty much the same fermware, the piont i was trying to make is some times them vida game companys try some new junk to fwart hombrew.
