i noticed that sometimes people paste urls that are really really really really really really long so i have to scroll sideways a bunch to read stuff which is annoying and then i found this url shortener http://shortify.com/ i know you can rename urls and stuff but why not

you can also get the tiny url extension for firefox, or they can learn to do text urls
