I just bought an item on ebay using buy it now and I don't want it due to the fact its $7 shipping even though it can fit in an envelope.

what you do is you curse yourself for not looking at the shipping cost before buying it.
you can not pay, but then you'll get filed as a non-paying bidder and probably get your feedback lowered.

Wow, are you retarded pay it and when it gets there it shows the shipping charge on it. Email ebay, ebay hates people who overcharge for shipping. make sure you keep it as proff too.

This is exactly why I dislike eBay.

Its not clear exactly what you bought, but since you said it could fit into an envelope see if he will take a SASE (self-adressed stamped envelope).

On the other hand, some of that shipping cost might be for Handling fees and stuff like that, since it sounds like he sells a lot of items on eBay (with having such a high feedback rating).

Anything you try will at least be better than just flat out saying you're not going to buy it now; show the guy some effort and he might cut you some slack.
