Slim NES

Post by F »

I know that the NOAC is great, but I'm fairly sure that not many people are ambitious enough to try that. On Kotaku today I saw this slim NES. I'm not sure what it's got on the inside, but it looks pretty sleek and it may be useful.[/url]

Ever heard of the mini-SNES? Still, a SNOAC would be cool, or we could do what gannon's doing with the Atari board (except that it would be REALLY hard).

Ladyada would probably have an easier time doing it as she is good with surface-mount soldering (the SNES is all surface-mount except for the 8 capacitors at the top). I would gladly do it, but the entire schematics for the SNES aren't available and it would take too much time to find them.

speak for yourself, now the internal chip diagrams... those'd probably need to be reverse engineered...
