good GBO games?

Post by Reaperman@home »

I really never got much into the GBO, I had other things going when it was new. Nowadays, I'm loading my GBA with those games, and I'm having a bit of trouble identifying the good ones. (adding to the trouble is that they're usually mixed *heavily* with GBC games, which are useless to me, and distinctions between them often aren't bothered with)

Can anybody help me out by naming a bunch of good GBO titles?

I have many of the common ones, like Kirby Pinball, and Zelda, about a hundred in all. But I know thousands of titles were out on this system.

Hmm, well I mostly played Pokémon back when I had my GBC, but I did have Harvest Moon for GameBoy, a good game, and I got a few GBC-only games (though Harry Potter sucked). I'd just recommend Metroid II because people say it's good. And get Harvest moon.

Megaman 1-5, Super Mario Land 1 and 2, Tetris, Kirby's Dreamlan 1 and 2. That all I can think of off the top of my head.
SNESp - 100%
Protable X - 15% - I need money :(

Ah, I remember Pokemon draining my life away as my eyes were melting by the black and white pixels. :)

Tetris. Period. That's it!

Metroid II is too hard (for me!)

I hated Pokemon, while everyone in my grade adored it. I despided it so much that I lost it in my own home, then found it this year!

Well my friend had some PSP homebrew, but the pixels become all disorientated and stuff. In some sorts, you have to minimize the screen. But it gets too small, so just to play a good game you need trial and error. But later games like Genny works rather remarkably. But SNES lags too much.

Super Mario Land 1 and 2, Tetris 1 and 2, and the GB Camera top my list.

Super Mario Bros. Deluxe is basically the only GBC game I play now. (I have already beat world 8-4, I'm working on 8*4)

@Luc- Mad Catz (or Performance, some third party company) made a Gameboy to Printer Port converter and had software that let you download the pictures from the Game Boy Camera to the PC. I used to have one, but I have long since forgotten where it is. :( You could always search Google or eBay for "Gameboy computer interface" or something.
