Battery pack/screen problems

If something is shorting, jumping fuses will almost definitely kill the mobo. Check everything that you've solderred, and make sure that you haven't bridged any solder points.

I already told you guys, the N64 itself is the one that's (partly) busted, not the battery paks!! I tested the battery paks on my other N64 and they worked. When I hooked up wall power to the N64P, nothing came on the TV but the N64P's light still came on. I checked all the places on the N64 motherboard but they all get the power they need. So what the @#$% is wrong?!

And I already told you, something is shorting on the N64! It's simple electronics, short today, no power tomorrow. Something is shorting(or atleast joining) the power lines! If everything is geting the proper voltage, there is either: not enough current flowing, or you've killed something. If you're absolutely sure that nothing is shorting, bypass the surface mount fuses near the AV section of the board. People have already posted where the fuses are located, so hit the search button.

Well... I got the new N64... totally ripped it apart... plugged in the batteries...
hooked it up to the TV (the GC screen doesn't have power yet)...

IT WORKED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well, anyhow, anybody know how to get that N64 logo off the N64 case w/o breaking it? Thx in advance.

i assume it's just glued in. you could probably cut it off with an exacto knife
