Tech department sale

I picked up two computers, two printers, and a vcr at our schools tech department sale, the pcs were only 10 bucks each, i shoulda got more, but i didnt feel like it, they have windows 95 , but still work. my mom is a teacher so if i want more i can just ask. any good ideas for what i should use them for?

1.use them as game servers
2sell them on ebay
3.mod the cases and post them on this forum http://forums.bit-tech.net/
4.use them as they are for web bowsing

Ah, the BNC Network cable card! Such a classic! Remove the card, and pop in a Ethernet card.

I would also suggest installing Linux.

Any more specs on these?

they both have ethernet, cuz they were school computers. They are pretty simple, lil ram, lil hardrive, i think they are pentium 2's maybe one of them was a pentium 1's, idk

I kinda wanted to just have a bunch of emulators, but.......i really dont think theres enought, linux is a good idea i think, i want to learn more about that, but where do i get started

i should prby use darn small linux im guessin cuz, theres not much room on these old computers, its funny to think i have 120 gigs on this pc and theres like 2 gigs on those

no, hyperthreading is something that needs to be built into the processor, cluster computers are linking many computers together to share processing power. It's uses are kinda limited though

get a Disk Containing Linux, and use it as a Startup disk..i think

Use Knoppix for a bootable CD based Linux.

It's not hyperthreading (like I have in my laptop!), Gannon, you could make a render farm!
