I have no idea what it is! Its called: TV PLAY POWER. IT IS NOT A POWER PLAYER SYSTEM

Its so funny! It has a copy of Balloon boy2! that game is just a remade balloon fighter with the exact same music.

another game features space invaders with the Zelda dungeon theme redone slightly.
Im thinking, yeah this may be a NES!

Im guessing its a NES clone, but there is Not a cartrige port! The games grafix and sound resemble that of a NES, and im going to take a look inside.
I can see through the clear case, and im pretty shure I see a glop top. More information when its learned..

Edit: The controller is a clear blue.

actually, space invaders was for the aracde, and its been ported to almost every system, especially the classics. This thing could be a NOAC being that it is one of the more popular System on a Chip, and the NES programming doccumentation is quite easy to obtain. The mini games that Radio shack sells, like Star Wars, Spongebob, atari, and intellivision are all to my knoledge NOAC.

Before you get too excited, if this thing is a bootleg NOAC, its probabbly going to have some kind of harware issues. The main problem with ALL NOACs is the sound itsnt that great. I mean, NES sound wanst that good, but the NOAC is even worse. Also, the thing that u have, if it IS a crappy NOAC, it might have problems with some games due to how Nintendo built the hardware in their carts. It migth not support certian MBCs and Mappers.

say WHAT? the thing Has a glop top and 2 chips. One of the chips says INTEL on the top and FLASH on the bottom.
Intel chip has 40 pins, the other has 28.
here are some pictures of it....

Image

this is the Intel chip.

Image

this is the back of the main board. the other board contains only a power switch and controls.

Image

this is the whole board.

this is a shot of the main board connected to the side board.

well, the games are stored on a 32 pin board, so it looks like the games are most likely just ported to whatever the gloptop is.

I have also counted traces from the glop: 72 the first time and 74 the second time, and with a few more counts, im betting the glop top has between 72 and 76 traces.

More News! this is the thing I got. those are the actual games on it, its called a "handy boy"

EDit: hmmm I searched for this INTEL chip, and i believe It may be their earliest form of flash memory! Ive checked Intels site, and they have been working on flash memory since before that!

Take a look! this means I may be looking of a way to add my own games!

BBBBBBB BIG UPDATE!

The INTEL chip was intels early form of flash memory!!! does anyone else think of where Im going? If I can use a JTAG cable mod, I can Import my own roms!

and it gets better! The music quality is almost perfect! it sounds much better than the power player things.

So any Thoughts on this? I may need some help to try to fully understand what im working with.

I have use Intel Flash chips before. More specifically, the Strata Flash Series. If you are smart enough, you can find a way to build a flash programmer (check out the willem programmer i think) and you can flash that chip. I think you should try and dump the chip, and play it on a NES emulator and see if it is actually holding the NES roms.

I have somthing that looks exactly like that. The only difference is that its clear purple and it says vsMAXX on the front. I'll go check if its the same thing as yours, if you ever find out how to put roms on it tell me. :D

I think I have the samething as yours...but a different version...or somthing.
here is a picture of the guts (sorry aboyt the loe quality...had to scan it)

The one chip on there (the only one not coved by that black glop) called M6MG3d641RB I think is 64mb flash memory (all the sites with information on it are in chinese) It would be cool to be able to put my own nes roms on this thing...but I could never figgure out how to do that :)

wow 2 glops and one big chip. count the pins on the chip. If you see 40, we may be working with similar chips.

here is mine... http://famiclone.emucamp.com/litestar-h ... dy-boy.htm

and foxx said: you can find a way to build a flash programmer (check out the willem programmer i think) and you can flash that chip. I think you should try and dump the chip, and play it on a NES emulator and see if it is actually holding the NES roms.

Those were my thought exactly. I want to dump the roms on my computer and see If I can play them straight on an emulator. that way I can see whatever is on that chip.
