That will work beautifullyâ€¦except it takes a lot of batteries. Seriously, do a DC-DC convertor to get your 3.3v line, you'll save a lot of power and you'll have a reasonably-sized portable too.

YOUR idea takes WAY too many batteries. If you use a rechargeable pack from RadioShack, you will have a good amount of power and it will be small.

I don't have one, but I'm planning to get one from Digikey for my N64p. In another topic asking about voltage, there is a part numberâ€¦
