more 64 woes

i think there is a problem with my "new" (one i got a few months ago) N64 it powers on but it doesnt get anything from the cart slot i have no idea why it doesnt work but its making me MAD!!!!! now i will probably need another N64! on top of the new screen!
oh and somthing unrelated the n64 that i have that i wont kill is NUS-001 lol

what do you mean it's not getting anything from the cart. slot? what happens when you turn on the n64? this may or may not help but here goes: try taking the jumper pack/expansion pack out of the N64, plug it back in, turn on the N64 (with no game in it), and leave it on for about 10 seconds or so. then turn it off, pop in a game, and turn it on and see if it works.

thanks i'll give it a try.
and what i mean is i have a game on hit the switch and nothink happens like there is no game in it we'll see what happens

for me the N64 can be as picky as an NES. blow on the cart and you should be fine if Gamelver's idea doesn't work.

no use. so I'm buying one from my neighbor for 3$ (heh i am the king!) this will be my 3rd n64 for this project! grand total cost
batteries: 27$
N64(s): 3$ (other two i got for free!
other stuff: mebe 40$ for switches and another screen
grand total: 70$

WOOHOO cheap-o! lol
