You should just paint everything a flat black or dark gray, if I paint mine, itll probably be a slate gray or something, maybe with a darker gray for the controls..

well its not that i dont like the controlls that much. if i did just want to change the controls i would just change the controlls but i think ill redue the hole thing. i also want tthe DS to be a lot thiner. its wasting a lot of space and i want a slim and cool machine.

Cennar, I am going to do this to my scratched up DS. Anything needed to prep it? Sand paper? I am building my own GBA CF adapter to go along with my Movie Player 2.

Oh, I would like a quick how to so I don't mess it up.

well get nintedno screew driver kit then take all the paint off with well i gots 4oo grit sand paper. taking apart is hard there are them dam hinges that you gots to worrie about. then you got to make sure when it all goes back to gether that all the things are pluged in fine the ds wont start with out having all its junk pluged in fine. then there is a little plastic bit that makes no sense.. so just remember where it came from when you reassemble.

yay a 4oo grit papper and some model paint (primer gloss and clear) you might want to use some putty for any junk you want to reshape. seems and stuff two

Cool, does this get off scratches?

Oh, and can you tell us how much the paint wears?

And would it look nicer if you used matte black paint?

I'd like my DS too looks as close as possible to this!
