PSOne LCD Power Problems

Hey guys, I posted this in the Playstation forum but I couldn't get an answer to my problem, so I figured I'd try here. This forum seems to get many more visitors.

The answer is most likely that nobody has encountered that problem before and therefore don't know the answer.
