Usually I run Mac OS X or Linux. I did stop in a little with Windows, but my computer was reformatted for unrelated reasons anyway.

Is it me or do events like this just bring to the surface that Windows just sucks more then we ordinarilly let on? I mean how many of use have reinstalled/formatted their hard drives or are going to? I've counted atleast 6 including myself.

a couple weeks ago my hard drive just stoppped working
it started making this weird noise and when i tried to reboot it would go
luckily i had another 2.5 drive lying around

side note: right now im running gnoppix on a live cd
its awesome :D

McAfee VShield caught it and I deleted the file, so no infection here.

Nope, I run Mac OS X on a 600 MHz iMac Graphite (G3). Basically speaking, it is BSD Unix with Apple's Aqua GUI. It truly is BSD because I actually use the Terminal (to access the core directly) and X10 for KDE and other apps.
