What was your first console?

game boy pocket. my first "console" is, sadly the gamecube (though i did buy an n64 this year)

First system was a Genesis V1 (now dead). I found it in our neighbors trash with no hookups at all.
At first my parents wouldn't let me keep it, but when I told them there were no controllers or cords they said okay (they figured I couldn't do anything with it).
Lucky for me I found everything I needed at Salvation Army over a couple weeks. Then it was off to Meijer to get Batman Forever.

And of course I had bunch of computer games like Chex Quest (awsome doom kiddie clone) and, I kid you not, Bibleman. But that was a long time ago, now I get the latest stuff like Painkiller.

first system played.... commodore 64 or NES not shure. First system personally owned( not family) Gameboy original, a copy of yoshis cookie, and yogi bear. man those games were great.

Some of the early memories were zack mc kracken, super mario bros 3, and even the newer games like Donkey kong country on snes.

First system Magnavox Odessey Orginal my Dad found it at a flea market w/ every game andoverlay and Duck Hunt Gun. I grew up in the 90s with a system from the 70s the first system at that. THen I got a gameboy color in 2001 or 2002

True story.

My first machine was an NES. My mom made my dad sell it when I was 2.

I eventually got a playstation, then a ps2, then an xbox, then an snes, then a genesis, then another genesis, and finally, a gamecube.

A few months after I got the gamecube (I got the gc in November, this is April now). We stop by a garage sale on the way to my dads home town (a 800km drive). We look around, and I get 2 nes's for $1. I showed my dad one and he pulled over and stopped the car.

"Flip it over Jeffrey."
"Why dad?"
"Just do it."

My dad's initials, and our old phone number.

So, around 350km away from home, 13 years later, we got back our NES.

i was a nes kid, though sadly my parents sold every "out dated" console for the new and "improved" console. we sold our snes and genesis and all our games for a christmas n64. i think it was atleast another 50 bucks after that. bout three years ago i started buying back all my games and systems. though i must admit i was very young in the nes days and i only vaugely remember duck hunt but now i have more nes games than anything so i still consider myself to be more of a nes gamer than anything else. (i play it the most too.)

mine did that too! it only went 70 miles away though if i remember correctly but this is britain and we are all more compact:P id brought another one by then so i had too.
