as I am sure you are all aware, there is a weird notification on the top. G-Force was telling me that his computer keeps on getting a virus when he comes to the forums. I would strongly advise against anyone browsing, and scan your computer as soon as you can. @Ben and gannon: if you could back up the forum, that would be great!

I have also noticed a few things about the forum (I have a Mac, no need to worry about viruses for now, my computer will tell me if it downloads anything), one of which is that the topics act as though I am not registered and don't turn orange when there are new posts, however they appear on the left.

EDIT: WARNING, VIRUS ALSO APPEARS AT THE MAIN WEBPAGE. MAKE SHURE YOU DONT GET THEESE VIRUSES BY USING A MAC. i am trying to see if it will get the viruses with mozilla firefox, and I believe it will.

What is the meaning of these errors anyway? I know they are caused by the virus, but why?

They're header errors.

I think we should use the IRC Chat until this problem is resolved.

BTW the problems mostly exploit IE. I've been trying to get access all morning through FireFox. I scanned my computer with today's antivirus update and I got nothing. I believe we've been infected with an IE exploit.

If anyone would come to the chat, I'll try mIRC and see if I can get onto the chat with it.

EDIT: mIRC won't work for me either.

oh well.
It looks like my forum wasn't deleted from ezforum after all! Huzzah!

unfortunately, there's nothing I can do, I can't even access the admin panel. This will require Ben to either fix the problem himself or reinstal phpbb (he should be able to just delete the software and reinstall it as an upgrade so no DB issues occur.

I sent Ben a couple emails, one explaining the situation and my theory, and another with a few of the error code samples.

Go to www.phpbb.com and download the system. It requires a MySQL or another database, so you'd have to have that feature from your web host.
