Mario and Shatner are in a dead heat! I voted for Shatner. He would tell the enterprise to shoot a photon torpedo while Sonic and Mario scratched their heads wondering why the hell Shatner decided to make an album!

Well, first, Sonic has high speed, Mario is mediocre by Sonic standards, and Shatner is past his prime(As a trekie, that is a difficult thing for me to say.. T_T). Assuming is is just Sonic vs. Mario vs. William Shatner(esp. at his current age) with NO POWERUPS, Mario and Shatner would both die with one good Spin Dash. If we are talking SA Sonic, he has Homing Attack, which is even better for him.

Both Sonic and Mario are good jumpers, and I doubt Shatner can hardly get off the ground.

Sonic, however, can jump a tad better, and is difficult to attack while jumping since he is spinning, unlike Mario, who makes a standard jump.

The only way Mario could win with no powerups is if Mario jumped up, let Sonic dash under him, and do a butt-bounce for an instant Sonic Pancake. Sonic, in no form, can tolerate being crushed. Even as Super Sonic. ^^

Of course, the quills that impale Mario in the process may force him to delay his victory celebration until an abrupt trip to the proctologist. ^^

If Mario is allowed a powerup then Sonic would be supersonic and there's no way they would beat him. I guess Shatner's Power would be to sing, Kirby style.
