4 AAs would last a long time. the power player thing barely consumes power.

I would say that AAAs are probably better in this case because it is going to be damn hard to fit 4 AAs, an NOAC, a NES controller board, the glop top, and a hip gear into a glasses case. Make them rechargeable and have 6, then you can just use a RadioShack charger.

you have a good point. maybe ill do that and then add an optional removable battery pack that latches on to the back for added power.

good question. It would look cool if you didnt see the cart port...

but then again, you couldnt play any good games! no megamans, metroid, punchout, blastermaster, and all the other ones that i didnt feel to list!

so you decide

You should use some sort of 60-pin connector, have that on the back and have an external cartridge slot. The external cartridge slot could go in your pocket or something and the battery pack could also attach there. That way you would have less chance of bumping the cart and freezing the game.

good choice not having it stick out the back. if i were you it'd stick out the bottom. your palm would rest against the sides of the cart supporting it.

Hey, can someone give me the dimensions of the smallest NOAC (besides the one from the Super 8/Tristar 64)? I have an idea…
