headphones not working

If you're making a portable you probably need something to watch it on. (Unless you want to guess what's happening in the game, but I wouldn't advise that) Anyway, this forum is your "Hacking a pocket TV/screen" one-stop solution. Share your experiences and knowledge here.

headphones not working

Post by daguuy »

the video and internal audio in my psone screen work perfectly but the headphones don't work. this might be because it's actually a verge screen and they might be connected differently or maybe i wired it a bit wrong. on slot 2 i connected audio to pins 2 & 3 but 9 & 10. does this have anything to do with it?

I'm not exactly sure, but the jack has to tie the HP_S, HP_L and HP_R spots together when there is no plug, and it has to go to the spots where the RGB connection originally input audio or something.
