Got a NES and game genie? try this out!
Load up super mario bros in a game genie, and enter this code
PLAYSO
thats the cheat. Enter it in, and you will hear cooler music!
type in PPPPPP and hear the underground theme in the first board!
type in LLLLLL and then you cannot move when you get a mushroom!
Just figured these out. If you dont have it, Im not shure it'll work, but try it in an emulator or something! Im trying out any more. Tell me if they work!
EDIT: if you must move it, go ahead. I thought more of the game genie/emulator than the fact it was for NES.
EDIT 2: AAAAAA makes the screen go grey when you load it up.
EDIT 3: PLAYLO makes the game freeze as soon as mario moves
EDIT 4: PLAYEA only allows you to play duck hunt, not super mario bros.

YEAELA funny, makes the top row of letters unreadable, it covers them with a stripe of random grafix. more to come soon...
this ones great... AAAEOO makes every other line a stripe of green! Looks like christmas!
POPEAE Makes the game load up duck hunt even if you select mario!
POPEAP Makes the graphix all screw up. about 1/2 way through the first board, the ground turns blue and says googogoggogooooogoooooo intsead of the normal appearance of 0000000000

even more (to come...)
POPPAE makes the graficx unbearable. I sometimes the number 1s that surround my head make me blend into the background.
EDIT last one for tonight.. SOPOPE the game dont work, but it looks like a western.
EDIT PART 2: This only works I think with the NES and a copy of SMB/Duck hunt with a game genie. I hope at least one of you guys has it. If you do try em out, they're cool.

or use my copy of duck hunt! I was unaware that the game was ever sold alone! I have a copy of just SMB and just Duckhunt. Its sweet, but if somebody else didnt have it, this would be a great alternative.vb_master wrote:That's cool. If you had a game store and wanted people to only play Duck Hunt, that would be cool.

More codes! Im serious, you have to try them out! (i may have said some of them already but oh well...
SKPOPE no music
PLAYYA changes jump animation
KIPPPI changes board. I think all blocks become powerups...
PIPPII changes the board also..
PIPPPI also changes the board around.
PIIKPP shoves a lot of enemies at start and none appear throughout the level
PIAEIP changes the music
PIIPPK Screws up the board extremely
SUPAEP Changes the colors of the first stage, alternating green and white...
PIIPIK also screws up the boards.
IPIPPP when you enter a stage, you enter from top left corner.
thats it for now!

lots of guessing. Im trying to figure out why they work. Im trying to see a pattern, starting with the letters, PIK( the most common ones ive been using.)vb_master wrote:How did you figure out these?
When i crack the code( if I do), then I will be able to make my own codes, rather than guessing.
