LM723CN Regulator

Post by usbcd36 »

I need help with this regulator. The datasheet doesn't describe how to wire it for a specific voltage. In this case, I want it to be a 3.3v switching regulator (for my N64p). This is the datasheet if it helps:

Use "Vo=(Vref*R2)/(R1+R2)" On pg 7 theres a "cheat sheet" that you can fine tune to 3.3v. The formula Vo=(Vref*R2)/(R1+R2) will let you figure out resistor values. (Vo=voltage out (3.3v), Vref I think is the input, and the rest are resistors.) Stick to fig. 13 and swap out R1 and R2 for the correct values.

Hmm, thanks. I wonder what I need to fine-tune now to get this to 3.3v…

Edit: What do I do about Cref and RSC? (I am using it as a switching regulator.) And what is the "logic input" anyway?
