Just a little work with this schematic, and you could mod the nes for stereo :D

I'm thinking that all of those parts are incorporated into the main black blob on the noac units.

Ok, here we go, this is what I made out of the last schematic. I haven't tested it yet, but it should work fine.

I also came across this stereo mod. It actually just mixes the 2 different wave channels with mono sound to emulate stereo, I'm not sure which would sound better, but this one is most definatly easier.
