Rowling's great. I never really read number 4 or 5. I kinda thought that it was some overbloated disney crap. Man, she changed A LOT of things at number 4 for it is a LOT darker. I got 6 at the library. I'm reading it now. After this, I'll read Thomas Harris and his lambs, which will be silenced. :)

Yeah, 1 to 3 were kiddy crap. 4-6 are much more young adult-oriented. She probably figures her audience has grown, so the maturity level of the books should follow suit.

I am thoroughly freaked out now. I decided to reread the first Harry Potter book because I was bored one night, and I got hooked again. So I just finished the 6th book for the second time this summer, and I realized something incredibly strange about the 4th book.

*SPOILERS FOR THE 4TH BOOK*
.
.
.
I was at the part where Ludo tells Harry about the 3rd task, where he gets taken off to fight Voldemort after he goes through that maze. Anyways, Voldemort gets resurrected on the same day as my 4th birthday (June 24th, 1994), on which, incidentally, I actually got cut while I tried to cut my own piece of birthday cake, and in the book he has Peter cut off his own arm and he slices Harry’s arm for his blood. Weird, no?

I think the next book will be a lot different if they are no longer at school it will be much more serious than the older books.

SPOILER

I hated when dumbledore died I'm thinking that in the future harry will find some memories of dumbledores an will learn from them how to find and destroy the horcruxes

Now that I'm finished I want to read the next one immeditatly and Do you guys forget most of what happened in books 1-5 I kinda did if I watched the movies than I remember it but if someone asked me what happened I wouldn't be able to tell them most of it.

I forgot everything about the 5th book until I read it again this summer, but I could remember the other 4 very well. I think it's because I read the 5th book in about 2 days, and I stayed up really late to finish it.

I never really liked Harry Potter. I read books 2, 3 and 4, but I didn't like five too much. I prefer reading Douglas Adams' books.

I remember 1-4 because I read them several times when I was in 5/6 grade. 5 was a blur because I only read it once in a few days.

And I think Dumbledore died to show that Harry has no one looking over his shoulder. (no parents, no Sirius, no Dumbledore, and everyone else that may be looking after him is too weak to make any sort of difference)
