PSone screen help needed

i fried my ps2 but i have all the connections right is there something i'm missing

If you fried your PS2, why are you trying to get the connections right? Connecting it up right won't "un-fry" it. Second of all, did you kill a screen or something, this IS the portable screen forum, after all.

cause i returned it and got another one
the ps2 wouldn't power so its not the screen

Ok, try connecting the PS2 (or is it a PStwo?) through the original AC adapter and the PSone screen through its own adapter (or you could use the PStwo adapter, if that's what it is, to power them both). Then all you have to do is solder 3 wires between them: video, left audio, and right audio (and ground if you used 2 separate adapters). The pinouts are on the sticky here, so [Uncle voice]GET CRACKIIING![/Uncle voice].

If you succeed in that, try connecting them through RGB or S-Video to improve quality, you don't want to use crappy composite in your portable if you can help it. Maybe have a switch for S-Video and RGB (the PS2 won't play DVDs through RGB, but composite won't look very good)?

the ps2 runs off 8 volts right

well try sticking a 7808 in there because when i ran my psone off a 7.2 volt battery it burst into flames (well two or three fuses caught on fire)

Yeah, because a 7.2v battery gives off closer to 10v. The power adapter should be ok though, I suspect it only gives off 8v or so.
