Post by atkafighter »

Hi,
I'm looking for a free animation program that allows you to use multiple images. It would be nice if it made gif format pictures. Some trial animation programs make their own filetypes (I hate that). If you got a good program (and its free/legal) please share it!
Thanks

Macromedia Flash makes flash animations which can then be saved as Gifs. And I dont think its considered illegal when it doesnt ask for an activation key. (and I downloaded straight from the macromedia website, not some pirate site)

As far as I can see, my avatar works fine, and I've done many more gifs that also work. You must be doing it wrong.

Cool I will try out some of these programs. Does anyone think they know how to shrink a 3 meg gif into a smaller one? I want to keep the resolution the same I just need it smaller (like lowering the colors or something like that). PM me for the file if you would like to help.
Thanks
