ps2 cntroller LED mod

would it be possible to add an LED on the ps2 controller like someone did on a NES controller?

yeah a 22ohm resistor and the +5v line

The actual holes for the leads aren't there, but the +5v and ground connections--why don't you just replace the analog LED with something cooler instead?

i couldnt find the pinouts for a ps2 controller just those psx ones i posted before
can anyone post some

Just find the ground wire (c'mon, it can't be hard, just trace it from the analog LED) and use your multimeter to find +5v. If that's too hard for you, you shouldn't even be trying to do this.

Just replace the frickin' analog LED!

Well I must warn you if you use too bright of led's you could hog too many amps and burn the fuse to the controllers(they share one fuse). I'm not too sure how much it can handle but just be (:x) weary.

Anyhow the pinout you found is one of the best on the net. PS2 and PS1 controllers are the same pinout(hence the ps2 controllers are backwards compatable).

So whatever the +5 Line is on there(most likely going to the rumble motors on the control board) and use the proper resistor for the LED/LED's you buy or whatever. Oh and you might need a hole

or you wont be able to see your new led too well.
