well, at least with gp32 you can (easily) emulate english games.
I don't believe there's anything english on any of the wonderswan systems.
not to mention the music/movies/ebooks excessive power of the gp32. The down side is that it's still expensive for what it is. You can get a used ppc for less than a used gp32--even without the flu. I must be behind on the gp32 times (not owning one) because this is the first I've heard of a BLU.

the games on the Wonderswan that are kinda worth playing on the wonderswan are not really that english friendly. There's final Fantasy, but would need to be patched to be even remotely english friendly. I've tried Guilty Gear Petit 2, and is a decent fighting game. http://grblitz.overclocked.org/others.htm Scroll down to Wonderswan.
The GP32 looks quite good and can handle emulators. Not to mention the GPx2 will be coming out.
The BLU is a backlight, usually providing the best light, FLU can do equal depending on the screen. I have not been able to compare the two to the normal GP32, so I can't tell you if the screen is bad or not.

Oh yeah the huge NES controller from The Screen Savers, right?
The tiny one is funnier, in my opinion.
