another wasted controller

hey this is really wierd... i got another ps1 controller with analog and stuff and the ribbon cable was attatched 2 the big board with all the switches (the board with x, triangle, etc...) then a small 8 pin flat ribbon cable attatches 2 the analog board... gahhhhh another wasted controller. is there any way 2 fix it????? or make it work in the project?

Are you making a SNESP and a PSXP you should just focus on one for the time being. Don't want to spread out money too much keep with the SNESP and you will learn a lot before you tackle a PSXP
