Step-up fewer batteries to sufficient voltage?
I'm making a NOACp that uses a PSOne screen. I have the screen running off of a 7.2v RC battery and the NOAC gets the 5v from the screen. Easy. Is there are way I can use less/smaller batteries? Can what I listed above run off 4 AAs? Or less? Isn't it possible to even use like 2 AAs and step up the voltage to 5v or 7v? Yes, the batteries will drain faster, I know. I'm just curious. What sort of small component would I use to step the voltage up?

OK, thanks. I guess I've gotta unwire some stuff then. As a matter of fact, I just recieved a new Hip screen in the mail yesterday. Now if only someone could provide me the pictures of the pinouts to compliment ladyada's info, then I'd be a truly happy camper.
