homemade laser tag guns

ages ago i had a link to a site that had instructions on how to make simple laser tag guns. but alas ive lost the link and all i could find was a site with impressive, but overly complex designs.

anyone have the link?

yeh, this is the link i found.

they are well beyond my building capabilitys, i just want a simple gun which fires and detects being shot.

Yeah and me, I thought about making one out of a Light Phaser, since I have 2, I'll make about 4, can someone give me a hand on how to just make a gun that fires and can detect a shot without using a PC board, or I could try and make a Master System program that just adds a number to a score displayed when a Light Phaser is shot at it... there, a simple Laser Tag System using The Master System

you could have a laser pointer, then the receiver would be a photoelectric transistor, and whenever it detects the lazer point it would light up another led on a board, and when there are too many leds lit up you would lose
