a strange Q I wasnt sure which topic to post in
is it possible to make any system's controller wireless? I think it would be cool to have a wireless SNES controller for my system, I was just wondering if it was possible, because that might enhance the "portable"ness of it all... Just a Q, if not, its all right.
WastedDruid I believe did that. But I'm not sure. You'll have to do a search. As for making an system's controller wireless its possible. All you need is an IR transmiter, reciever and the circuit to chance the controller into the ir and then back from ir.

You could also go with an RF transmitter/reciever, but those are harder. One reason the SNES is not so easy to make a wireless controller for is you have to have signals going in both directions (yes, GC too, but that has already been done) unless you are going to have the actual button decoder chip in the reciever.
