I thought you said you lost your book... and if your friend does have it get it back.
And the adapter I would recomend would be the one that comes with the screen if it comes with one. I think you said it was a hip gear but i don't know those specs but the PSone screen one is perfect maybe someone has one to trade.

He did, 19 days ago. 12 days before he said he "couldn't find it", he said his mom took the book away and threw it to "the lower kids level" at the mall.
Riverfalcon, what are the power requirements for that screen?

Looking at the DC IN it shows 7.5V (is that what you wanted or something else?)
:::EDIT:::
Also, as I expected, I WILL need a 3-way switch. According to doomportables: "...If you do not purchase a 3-Way switch you will have to remove your batteries before you can use an AC adaptor because the current will cause your batteries to pop. (this often happens to the Game Axe)..."
I can just take out the battery, yes, however, things have a tendancy of disappearing!
You dont need a switch to test it out just attach wires to the battery leads(with a protective device such as electrical tape...you may need to press hard on the leads).
For positive 7.5in on the screen and you need to get the 5v through the 7805 or the back of the screen and put that in the hole marked I where the 7805 was on the Snes.
Negative at the dc jack to ground on screen ground to neg on battery.
Gotta get a new one now...the first time doing anything is always the most expensive time. Is it possible to connect the snes to the screen through audio wires and bring power to the screen as well through batteries (w/o much modifying)?
