i need to know how to do this and does it act as the 1st controller

Ok, first we need to know what type of NOAC you have. You should check in the NES section for the answer, because there is a controller pinout there for one type of NOAC and probably others too.

Use Pod, they have pinouts.
This should be in the Nintendo forum.

Move it to nintendo forum, but i have the solution, use the glop top off of the controller and wire it to the NES board, If you want a Deatiled explination, il have to write it up

its the power player that looks like a DC
the glop is fried thats why i need to know how

that is not good. I have not worked with the dreamcast version, but if the glop top is fried, you cant do a controller :(

If you manage to steal the glop top from the 2nd player, yes, you can get it to work.
as for pinouts, I have none in that version. only power player 3s

I am having a similar problem and fried the NOAC. I hate frying things. Hey we have similar avatars, pretty cool. This is my 100th post! :D

Cut around it, sand the leads, and solder wires to them, If it isint fried. Before you cut, follow the lines to see what they do.

I made the mistake of cutting BEFORE i looked at the wires. Big mistake.
It took me 2-3 days to try and get it working again, and it did.
