Time to go out to the garage and find the stuff to make my own!

I have an old 2 MB SIMM on my keychain.

And I superglued a loop of string to a dead, clear blue floppy and hung it on the christmas tree last year.

Lol, I have a 4 or 8 MB SIMM for my keychain, and some spares lying for 'just in case.'

Ya it only took me like...a whole 5 min to make it. I took an old phone coard and just the plug off one end and put a jack on it.

I have an old 32MB SIMM...I could make a keychain with it.
Now...if I could only find somthing I could to do with all those other old computer parts I have sitting down in my basement

I wouldn't buy any of the stuff except the belt, and I already have a great homebrew belt: 1000 lb. test dynamic climbing rope with a figure-8 follow thru buckle!

I have a processor necklace that I made about three years back. It is a string connected to an old school Game Boy cartridge case with a foam pad inside, which holds a working 486DX2 66MHz. I chose it because it was the first CPU that could run Windows 98 (and all I could spare at the time).

I've also made a resistor necklace, and even have a working Pentium processor in a ZIF socket I removed from a dead motherboard. I'm trying to decide how best to attach the string to it. (The connectors on the bottom of the socket were sanded off and taped over, to avoid zapping the chip with static.) Oddly enough, it's a Socket 5 ZIF, and the Socket 7 chip fits in it perfectly. Maybe I'll make another and put my Cyrix MII in there. It'd finally give the chip a use, and may turn the heads of some fellow nerds who are "in the know" about that evil processor. (The thing can't even play Unreal Tournament without screwing up royally, most of the time in funny ways.)

Maybe I'll take my 1 MB 30 pin SIMMs, or maybe 4 MB 72 pin SIMMs, and make a necklace out of that. I will keep my 8/16 MB 72 pin SIMMs because I still use 72-pin FPM/EDO modules, and those 4 MB 30 pin SIMMs were a NIGHTMARE to find cheap....but now I can cram 32 MB of them into a machine that takes them. ^^

What else would be interesting...hmmm....maybe a laptop hard drive Belt Buckle...

I made a belt out of a NES controller, It pretty cool
