Damn this thing took off fast.

I think its good for people that have been being naughty to be put in the spotlight. Sending a PM to them they might say "So what". With this they know that whole forum commenty is aware of their misconduct and will not tolerate it.

I agree with nos concering the warning system mod.

Also, included in that mod, I believe, is the ability to give a person a rating based on how helpful they are. That could also be a nice feature to add as well.

What we could do is set up the mods-only forum on, say, a 100webspace account and password-protect it. Actually... I do have a 100webspace forum that I don't use... I could convert it if you wanted me to.

I think if we asked gannon nicely, he would probably make a moderator only forum on here. It would probably be best if we kept it here, rather than spliting it apart. If gannon made it, he could set it up so only moderators could see/read/post in it. If the "see" permission is set to "Mod", only moderators can see it on the forum index.

But their was only 3 moderators back then. Now we have 13 mods plus gannon (and Ben).

No one cares if you're sorry! We still don't like you, no matter how sorry you are. You have to show how you can change, instead of just saying stuff like: "I'm gonna change, cause I'm l33t-er that all ya'llz b1tc#e$!!!one!!?2".

Well, I think it's good to see an apology, as l;ong as it's not an empty promise. There have been some people who say they'll stop, but they don't apparently mean it. I have also seen people *coughcoughCORKYcough* who say thet we're the problem, not them. But it's good to see people who are aware that they're annoying and are willing to work on the problem. Admittance is the first step, after all.

Actually... If I was turning into a fascist I'd lock down all the features and make it so I'm the only one in power

So, believe it or not what we do is for the bettering on these boards. Even in the past 6 months there's been an amazing increase in spam and misconduct.
Also, I can tell you that it doesn't always stop at a ban. Some people decide to comeback using different ISPs or proxies many times. In those instances if another ban does not get through to them I will not hesitate to report the conduct to their ISP.
