Pictures of HipGear pinouts?

If you're making a portable you probably need something to watch it on. (Unless you want to guess what's happening in the game, but I wouldn't advise that) Anyway, this forum is your "Hacking a pocket TV/screen" one-stop solution. Share your experiences and knowledge here.

Pictures of HipGear pinouts?

Post by scherzo »

I know that we have the pinouts of the HipGear described in text form here:

http://benheck.com/ipw-web/bulletin/bb/ ... php?t=1446

Do we have corresponding pictures with labels anywhere like we do for the PSOne screen? I have a HipGear and don't wanna make a mistake. Thanks.

Yeah If you would happen to have a picture, that would be great. Im going to get a hip gear screen for my NOAC. Ive got 4 AA rechargeable batteries that power up the NOAC just fine. They say that they are 1.2V batteries, but they work fine. After a charge, they all pump out 1.5 to 1.6V each, and last for a long tiome. Would around 6V be enough to power the screen?

You can power the HipGear with 5V.

Also, looking at ben's book, with these pinouts, helps a lot, otherwise you dont know where to hook the screen too :P

Yes, I know. That's the topic I referenced in my first post. But his pinouts are purely textual. I'm looking for some pictures to supplement ladyada's findings.

Her, as in ladyada.

LM was replying to bioniclebert's question, which shouldn't have been asked.
